EDT Diecasting Technology (Suzhou) die casts aluminium seats for pneumatic control valves. The seat contains several air chambers, partitions and internal passages, with threaded ports and a mounting face on the outside; casting them in one piece removes machining and assembly steps, and CNC finishing brings the sealing faces and threads to tolerance.
Multi-cavity in one part — Internal chambers, partitions and passages are cast in place, replacing machined and assembled sections with fewer joints that can leak.
Internal density — Pneumatic parts are sensitive to porosity and shrinkage, so gating and venting are designed together with vacuum assistance where required.
Sealing faces and threads — Valve seat faces, O-ring grooves and threaded ports are machined for flatness and thread fit, withstanding repeated assembly.
Deburring — Burrs at intersecting holes and passage mouths affect flow and sealing, so dedicated fixtures and vibratory finishing are used.
Flexible interfaces — Side or end ports, mounting holes and dowel holes can be arranged for valve island or manifold integration.
Quality control for pneumatic seats centres on internal integrity and leak tightness. The route includes flow analysis, casting, deburring including internal passages, CNC machining, cleaning and leak inspection. Internal quality is verified by sectioning or CT scanning on a sampling basis, and finished parts can be leak or flow tested to customer specification.
Used for solenoid valves, directional control valves, flow and pressure control valves, valve islands and air preparation units that need multi-cavity bodies and precise sealing.
