EDT Diecasting Technology (Suzhou) casts zinc and aluminium parts for appliance manufacturers. Parts here fall into two groups: visible parts such as control knobs and decorative rings, where surface quality and plating matter; and moving parts such as door shafts and latches, where strength, wear resistance and fit accuracy matter.
For decorative parts, surface quality is everything: alloy composition and melt cleanliness are controlled, vacuum casting and stable die temperature are used, and blanks are ground and polished in several stages before plating, with cosmetic inspection against limit samples plus coating thickness and adhesion tests. For moving parts the focus is strength and motion reliability, with density controlled through gating and venting and opening and closing cycles simulated where relevant.
Washing machines and dryers, refrigerators and freezers, kitchen appliances, air conditioners and water heaters, as well as decorative and structural parts on appliance front panels.
Q：Can you achieve a mirror chrome finish?
A：Yes. Vacuum casting limits internal porosity, and multi-stage polishing before plating delivers a uniform bright surface. Porosity and inclusions are the main cause of plating blisters, so casting quality is the decisive step.
Q：Do you supply complete assemblies with springs and pins?
A：Yes. Casting, deburring, machining and assembly can all be completed in house and delivered as a sub-assembly, reducing operations on your line.
