EDT Diecasting Technology (Suzhou) produces aluminium die castings for data-centre, optical communication and industrial electronics customers. This category covers our thin-wall precision work: server heat-sink brackets and hard drive brackets, where low weight, a large cooling area and accurate hole patterns matter most. Structure, mounting method and surface finish are built to customer drawings.
The challenge with electronics parts is thin-wall filling, flatness and hole accuracy. Vacuum die casting can be used to reduce internal porosity, followed by deburring, CNC machining and a straightening step; sand blasting, conductive conversion coating, painting or e-coating are available. Critical holes and seating faces are checked on CMM and profile projector, with first-article approval and in-process records. Common alloys include A380, ADC12 and AlSi10MgMn, and other grades can be specified.
Data-centre servers, optical modules and transceivers, industrial PCs and network equipment, consumer electronics and appliance control modules. The tighter the flatness, weight and batch consistency requirements, the more a one-piece die casting helps.
Q:How do you control distortion on thin walls?
A:Flow simulation at tool design stage predicts filling and distortion, a straightening step and CNC machining control flatness afterwards, and critical dimensions are inspected to drawing.
Q:Can you work without a finished drawing?
A:Send a sample, a physical part or the application requirements and our engineers will support the structural review and drawing confirmation. An NDA can be signed, and customer designs stay confidential.
