EDT Diecasting Technology (Suzhou) produces zinc die cast pressure regulator bodies for gas control equipment. Porosity is the governing requirement: vacuum casting limits entrained gas, and impregnation after machining seals micro-porosity to secure gas tightness and long-term safety.
Vacuum casting against gas porosity — Vacuum assistance reduces gas entrapment in the cavity and improves internal density.
Impregnation of micro-porosity — Resin impregnation after machining seals interconnected micro-pores, improving tightness and pressure resistance.
Machined sealing faces and threads — End faces, valve seats and threaded ports are CNC machined for flatness and thread accuracy.
Compact integration — Diaphragm chamber, ports and mounting holes are combined in one casting, cutting parts and potential leak paths.
Corrosion protection — Painting, e-coating or passivation can be specified for gas environments and outdoor installation.
Porosity and tightness are the critical characteristics. The route covers flow and venting review, vacuum casting, deburring, CNC machining, cleaning, impregnation and leak testing. Internal quality can be verified by sectioning or CT sampling, and finished parts are leak or pressure-hold tested to customer standards with records kept.
Used in gas regulators, pressure regulating devices, pneumatic control and gas distribution systems, and for other zinc valve bodies and housings requiring high gas tightness.
