EDT Diecasting Technology (Suzhou) die casts zinc valve bodies for gas control valves. The body contains two chambers, a side port and several mounting holes; sealing faces and ports are machined after casting and the part is leak tested, as expected for safety-relevant gas control.
Twin chambers in one casting — Both valve chambers and the connecting passage are cast together, removing assembly joints where leaks can occur.
Machined sealing faces — Valve seat faces, cover joint faces and port threads are CNC machined for flatness and concentricity.
Internal density — Gating and venting control porosity, with vacuum casting and impregnation available where tightness demands it.
Flexible ports and mounting — Side gas ports, mounting ears and locating holes can be arranged to suit the host appliance.
Corrosion and appearance — Painting, e-coating or passivation supports corrosion resistance and a consistent look.
Quality control for valve bodies covers dimensions and tightness. Parting line and machining datums are agreed against the customer assembly, then parts are deburred, cleaned and CNC machined. Finished bodies are inspected to drawing and leak or pressure-hold tested, with CT sampling used to confirm internal quality where required.
Used for gas control valves, solenoid valves and safety shut-off valves, and for valve bodies in gas metering, regulating and distribution devices.
