EDT Diecasting Technology (Suzhou) produces aluminium die cast multi-channel hydraulic quick coupler bodies for agricultural and construction machinery. Each part integrates several oil passages, valve bores, threaded ports and a mounting flange in one casting, while machined sealing faces and casting density have to guarantee leak-free operation under pressure.

Key features

• Integrated oil passages — Multiple supply and return passages, valve bores and the mounting flange are combined in one part, removing joints where leaks can start.

• Density control — Because hydraulic parts are sensitive to internal porosity, vacuum die casting and impregnation can be combined to reduce leak risk.

• Machined sealing faces — Mating faces, O-ring grooves and threaded ports are CNC machined for flatness, concentricity and thread accuracy.

• Pressure and vibration — Ribs and wall transitions raise pressure stiffness so the body copes with vibration, shock and temperature swings in field work.

• Corrosion protection — Sand blasting, anodising, e-coating or painting can be specified for wet, muddy and fertiliser-exposed conditions.

Process and quality control

Quality control for hydraulic parts centres on density and sealing faces. The route covers tool and flow review, casting (vacuum assisted where required), deburring, CNC machining, cleaning and pressure testing. Critical sealing faces are verified on CMM and profile projector, and air or hydrostatic leak tests can be performed with records kept. The plant holds ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification.
