EDT Diecasting Technology (Suzhou) produces decorative die castings such as program selector rings for appliance makers. As visible parts they must fit the knob and panel and also take a uniform mirror finish after polishing and chrome plating, which places high demands on casting density and surface quality.
Vacuum casting against porosity — Vacuum assistance reduces entrained gas, lowering the risk of pinholes and pits that show up after polishing.
Polishing and chrome plating — Multi-stage polishing before plating delivers a bright, uniform surface for appliance front panels.
Accurate fit — Inner clips, anti-rotation features and face seats are controlled to drawing so the knob sits correctly and turns without play.
Dimensional stability — Zinc alloy shrinks little and holds dimensions, suiting thin rings and fine textures in volume.
Detergent and wear resistance — Plating raises surface hardness and chemical resistance for everyday cleaning and long service.
Surface quality is everything for decorative parts. Alloy composition and melt cleanliness are controlled, with vacuum casting and stable die temperature management. Blanks are deburred, ground and polished in several stages before plating, inspected against limit samples, and tested for coating thickness, adhesion and salt spray.
Used for program selector knobs and decorative rings on washing machines and dryers, and for trim parts, badge frames and knob housings on air conditioners, water heaters and kitchen appliances.
